Ultramar ferry dock is located in Puerto Juarez a few minutes from downtown Cancun.
First boat to Isla Mujeres departs at 05:30 am. and trips go every 30 min
The ride takes about 20 minutes and costs 13.5 USD for a one way ticket.
To arrive on time take the 10:00 am Ultramar boat to be at the island at 10:30 am to then walk 2 min to the meeting location at Perla Negra dock #3 right next to the Gas station where we meet at 11:00 am
If you are in the Cancun Hotel Zone by foot and want to catch the 10:00 am Puerto Juarez Ultramar boat (do not confuse with the Ultramar from the Hotel Zone):
Head outside and take the bus "R-1" or also "R-2" at around 6:00 am (buses go by every 5 min or so)
Buses will take you downtown where you can catch a way cheaper taxi (50mxn) to Ultramar in Puerto Juarez.

If you are in the Hotel Zone with a car:
Drive on Kukulcán Blvd. towards downtown, turn right at Bonampak Ave. Go straight 2 miles and turn right on López Portillo Ave, at the bridge. Go further 1 mile aprox.

*There are porters waiting to help you with your dive equipment and load it on the ferries.

in Cancun there is a car ferry at the area of Punta Sam just 10 minutes north of Puerto Juárez departing at 7:00 am Excepting sundays. the ride takes 45 min and the fare is 20 usd for a sedan and 45 usd for a Van or Pick up
The fare includes the driver and each additional passenger on the vehicule pays .
Buy your tickets at the port before boarding.
Be 30 min early as sometimes the ferry can get full.
